Discuss A River Called Titas

Such a beautifully shot film, the photography is truly superb. I could have paused the film fifty times just to take in the quality of the image. The story wandered a bit from what I thought was going to be Basanti's story but it really captured the devastation of a whole community from the perspective of many characters. Highly recommended. 7.5/10

I hadn't heard of this but I absolutely loved Ghatak's earlier film Cloud-Capped Star (1960). I may have to check this one out.

Yes, I saw that film earlier this year and loved it, too. Even slightly more than Titas. You will find something to like in Titas.
