Mulcahay is out and Van Ethan is back in. I’m not able to post the link, I’ll try to find one I can post here and update. I can’t say I’m sorry.

You do have to wonder why such a bad decision was made, because from what I have read online, Mulcahey just didn't get the characters and there was an abrupt shift in tone when he came in...why did Frank allow that?

I’m grateful for my long tenure in my career. How nerve wracking for these creatives!!

Well this new head writer very abruptly changed too many of the characters’ careers and attitudes. Good writing involves slower character development.

I was going to start sampling/watching the show again in June when I have more time...but since I read that Mulcahey's material will air into mid-summer, I think I am going to wait until July to resume watching...so then I can avoid most of what he's done. I do miss watching GH regularly but I cannot abide inconsistent characterizations.

For whatever flaws Mulcahey had, it isn't exactly inspiring that they are bringing Van Etten back.
