Yup I think the implication is pretty strong throughout the entire scene that she's entertaining thoughts. Nobody would be that clueless to get so close and intimate unless there was a little bit of flirting going on. There's also the scene, I think near the end, where she takes off his glasses and gives him an intense look. Of course the ole take-off-someone's-glasses-and-give-them-an-intense-look maneuver is the biggest Hollywood windup for a kiss, but nothing happens here. I think Wes Anderson deliberately takes us to the edge of creepy but stops safely short. Just enough to make us think. Especially since she's clearly closer in age to the kid than she is to Bill Murray, the 3rd of the love triangle.
