One Sunday, one of the stations (WGN I believe) played all the classic movies.

I laughed uproariously when Abbot and Costello met Frankenstein. The final boxing match was great when they met the Invisible Man. I was primed and ready to laugh when I saw this one. But I didn't.

The "pick a pick" wordplay routine felt forced as did the slapstick at the end.

I guess their formula was running dry. It happens to the best of them.
