The new Android could only transform by genetic material, but the guard only steps on him with his shoe. Shouldn't the Android not of been able to copy him?
"Anything it samples by physical contact" is very loose though and never expanded on or explained.
If it can't copy the guard by touching his shoe, then if he touched the guards hand would he be only be able to copy the guard, and not his clothes?
