I'm confused by that part of your comment. Still stunning? She was 'still stunning' 10 years later.

I'm thinking about her later career... I think people most remember her as the actor in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane and all those horror films she did in the 70s and 80s. Believe me, I love her. I think she was absoluetly perfect in The Man Who Came to Dinner... as corny as that one is.

Well, not me. I'm a boomer so I personally would love to forget the movies she made later in life (from the 60s onward, some were just ghastly), but we all have bills to pay. I personally prefer her films from the 30s to the mid 50s.

Her eyes were mesmerizing in "Of Human Bondage (1934)".

I have to say I haven't seen that one. The opening of The Letter is the most kick-ass scene ever. I'll add Of Human Bondage to my list.
