Gladiadores de Pompeya was an Argentine comedy series that aired on Channel 9 between March 20, 2006 until April 25, 2006 and was one of the most important releases of the channel at the time.

Los Roldán is a Spanish language telenovela produced by Argentina's Telefe from 2004 to 2005. The drama, which is also described by many as a comedy, actually ended up winning an award in 2004 as Argentina's Comedy of the Year. RCN Colombian network recently bought the soap opera, making a Colombian version called Los Reyes, while the Mexican version of Los Roldán is Los Sánchez, produced by TV Azteca. In 2008, ANT1 Cyprus, produced the series in a Cypriot version called Η ζωή είναι ωραία. In 2012, Mega Channel, produced the series in a Greek version called Οι Βασιλιάδες.

Carmen and Elena Iturrioz are sisters and partners in a laboratory inherited from their parents. Both carry out the cases that reach the laboratory, together with a team of collaborators. Each episode will stage a new story that arrives at the laboratory at the hands of characters seeking to find out their identity, recognize a son or a brother, gain access to an inheritance or identify a genetic disease, among others. they will reveal who they are; they will get closer to their own personal and family identity.

The series proposes a new look at the human bonds of the new century. Each of the chapters develops a unique story. They are focused on the conflicts that their characters face in the face of the resistance of a society that often does not fully accept new realities, a product of the transformations that are currently being experienced.

Young psychologist Martín Mondragón is contacted by a mysterious man named José Sagasti, who tries to collect an old debt that Martin's grandfather left when he died. Rivera, being the first male descendant, is the most suited guarantor to pay off the debt, which consists in giving his soul to the devil by dropping a bit of blood from an old parchment.

The story takes place in the Sicily of the 30s and its protagonists, Giuliana (Luisa Kuliok) and Luca (Osvaldo Laport), are seen intermingled in the games of the mafia and local power.
