After an armed box office heist where the robbers escape on motorcycles leaves Hooker and Romano's patrol car destroyed by a bomb and a young man dead, Hooker and the team are on the look out for an infamous criminal named Willie Donovan, whom Corrigan has a grudge against after the collapse of a previous investigation.
