Discuss Adventures of Superman

I know that many folks see those episodes as sort of silly/campy vs. the earlier b&w ones, but I think they did the sets, wardrobe, etc., really well. Their use of muted/pastel shades worked well, and they used technicolor in a nicely restrained way, not too garish.

Yes, they did a nice job w/color. They used to hold up a color chart before shooting scenes, to make sure they got proper color registration. Here's some discussion of the transition to color.

Yes, it has been a visual pleasure watching them on Heroes and Icons. When I was young, we only had a black and white TV so I didn't notice any difference.

As far as the storylines, I do have some quibbles. I will try to restrict them to a separate thread...
