@Nexus71: I had posted a long post about why I wanted a Starship to be named after John van Dreelan but it seemed to have disappeared, so I 'll rewrite it: John van Dreelan was an actor who was born and raised in The Netherlands. During WW2, Mr. van Dreelan was put in an internment camp by the Nazis because he was Jewish and was waiting to be shipped to a concentration camp. However, Mr. van Dreelan was able to get into the laundry room where the German officers uniforms were cleaned, took a SS Officer's Uniform, put it on, and walked right out of the camp with no problems whatsoever (I LOVE this story)! Mr. van Dreelan was able to hide for the rest of WW2. He eventually came to Hollywood, and starred in a lot of tv shows, usually as a bad guy. He ironically played a Nazi SS officer on a lot of the American WW2 tv series of the 1960's. He also appeared in a first season episode of Classic Mission Impossible called The Diamond. I thought that anyone who could come up with such a creative way to escape from the Nazis deserves to have a Starship named after him.
