...Celebrating Star Trek's Women Writers

โ€œStar Trek has a history of not only highlighting powerful women on-screen, but featuring them behind-the-scenes as well. Going as far back as Star Trek: The Original Series, each series has featured women as episode writers, which was a striking move for a 1960s show. As the franchise continued to grow throughout the years, more women joined the Star Trek writing family, bringing us stories of humanity, hope, and heartbreak.โ€ (STARTREK.COM STAFF)

I've only watched two episodes of Star Trek Lower Decks, but I really liked them. Besides, who can't love a show where Gary Mitchell gets a shout-out at the end of the first episode?

People who see through this pathetic attempt at third-rate "humour" that wouldn't even be on SNL?

I didn't watch Lower Decks to hear the reference, but from what was in the original episode it's doubtful that what really happened to Mitchell was ever revealed.

I don't like lower Deck it's too much for the ADHD generation not my cup of tea, plus naming characters or situations from old Trek as memberberries doesn't make it (good) Star Trek .If such was the case I can name several South Park and Family Guy episode which did a far better job.

Plus The Orville, even.
