Discuss Star Trek

Sometime within the past couple years, I saw a video of some kind of recreation of the original Enterprise bridge design, probably actually from The Cage, and past design guy Robert Butler was being "welcomed aboard" by an actress who looked like and was dressed like Laurel Goodwin as Yeoman Colt.

I can't find it anywhere now. Does anyone else remember seeing that, and where it might be?

I remember posting about that. That post seems to have disappeared.

It started with :

"The Roddenberry Estate and OTOY unveil beautiful and fully realized recreations of Gene Roddenberry’s iconic Starship Enterprise bridge across time and space."

Anyway, here are some links I used for that post. The complete video with Robert Butler on set appears to have been deleted. There is a scene of that in the video below.

... The Roddenberry Archive recreates Star Trek’s 1964 Pilot episode as a life-size holodeck simulation - news article

The Roddenberry Archive: The Cage (2022) - video

Here on the above video are a few seconds of Robert Butler meeting 'Yeoman Colt'.

Here is a link to a new post with more videoclips of the 'recreated' Yeoman Colt at the end.

Yes, my google searching turned up those. And I've found others too, including what you probably meant by "The Roddenberry Estate and OTOY unveil beautiful and fully realized recreations of Gene Roddenberry’s iconic Starship Enterprise bridge across time and space."

It does appear that the one video I remember, was deleted. Which is a shame, because I thought it was better than all the others.

I wonder why your post would have disappeared? Is TMDB in cahoots with the studios or something, same as imdb?
