They all have their strengths, but of all the 3, the one that's the most fun for me is Ultra Q. I think it's the humor and deliberate campiness that does it for me. While TZ and OL were serious shows focused on suspense & horror, Ultra Q took the same dark approach but made it a bizarre, at times psychedelic, kids show with a lot of clowning around.

The result is a WTF factor cranked up to 11.

I submit for your review: An episode about a kid who witnesses a bank robbery and gets kidnapped by the robbers, only for his pet turtle to suddenly grow to the size of a sofa and carry him off to a mythical cloud universe where a weird princess blows him up with a nuke before sending him back with a super power: the power to turn into a grandpa.

I submit, also, for your review: An episode about a runaway train, hijacked by an artificially engineered gorilla creature, who crashes the train at 700mph into a city, blowing up himself and a little kid who fly sky-high, literally into orbit, as the kid marvels at the view of earth and the gorilla creature utters his first and last bizarre words in the whole show: "I am the seagull!"

Dude idek what the writers were on, but I'll have what they're having.
