It's not bad, it's as you would expect, lots of fun fan service and cameos which have been hyped to the point where they will only disappoint people. They clearly didn't get permission to use batman but i think they did an okay job at indirectly referencing it.
Still very "CW" though.
3rd episode is the best but that's because I grew up with the 90's series of the flash and like Shipp.
The Lucifer cameo was very cool. Also, Lex is such a dick, but I have to give him props. I hope one day they return the favor and have Constantine appear in an episode of Lucifer.
I have to say I'm impressed that they were actually able to include a lot of the plot points from the comic in this adaptation.
Considering the limitations of having to have each episode main cast in each of their shows, continuing plotlines and the 40 minutes contained story format they've done better than I ever could (even before getting clearance for characters and casting considerations).
It's a very loose adaptation of course but it hasn't just taken the title, it's actually followed several plot points too just very simplified.
I never watched Lucifer, but was aware that Tom Ellis played the character.. I was pleased to see him in this crossover. I remember him best as Gary, the hunky bartender from the BBC show Miranda.

Ditto the Shipp-Flash. A very touching send-off for him. Consistent with the Crisis comic book series of the 1980's. Sundays nights were great in the 1990's! This Flash went into syndication on the old Sci-Fi (not SyFi) Channel after it was cancelled. Just after the network premier of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Got to watch both back to back. It's what the CW should be.
Also, Lex is such a dick, but I have to give him props.
Yeah I do agree with you on that, he's acting just like Deegan in the Elseworlds crossover, doing what he can with The Book of Destiny to make sure things go the way he wants them to. Though I do feel him trying too hard to achieve it, is bordering on condescending.
Other than that I'm liking it so far and i do like the cameos they've had so far, especially seeing Burt Ward (gotta love is "Holy ..." line). Plus you gotta love what Earth number they made Luci's reality XD
It's going to be a little tough to wait a whole month for the last two episodes but I'm sure I can wait that long.
I have to admit that he does make a very evil Lex Luthor and he fits into character very well. As someone that has collected and read Comics since the early 60s I'm fairly impressed as to how they are putting a 12 issue comic series into a five night story arc. I think it's extremely fun. I know that they renewed all the CW shows except our row because are always turning into Green Arrow and the canaries, but I hope that they don't cancel Legends or Supergirl because now the world's emerging as to what happens in the comics it makes it easier for all of these characters Crossover with one another. They have a virtual gold mine characters and storylines that they can play off of.
And there are so many Easter eggs everywhere you look. I'm hoping that in Lucifer season 5 they'll cover a story about Constantine and maze
Also they'll be introducing Stargirl into this universe as well. It's supposed to play simultaneously on DC Universe and was originally scheduled just for DC Universe but now it'll be part of the CW one of the new shows that they'll be bringing in and I'm psyched for that.

The 4th episode dragged on and on, which is weird as I'm guessing a bunch of stuff was cut, like the reverse flash.
