Item: Principessa Mononoke
Language: it-IT
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: The first italian distribution name was "Princess Mononoke" by Buena Vista on year 2000. The title "Principessa Mononoke" was changed from the second distribution company (Lucky Red) on year 2014. So by the guidelines on your database we should have "Princess Mononoke" as main Italian title, while "Principessa Mononoke" as alternative Italian title. I cannot change it because that field is locked. http://www.studioghibliessential.it/copertine/cover_dvd-princess_mononoke_cover1.jpg http://www.studioghibliessential.it/copertine/cover_dvd-princess_mononoke_cover2.jpg

Yes, DVDs covers are the most trustable proof about that. At that time (year 2000) in the Italian market there were no BluRays at all for mainstream customers. This fan website is one of the most complete about Italian editions of Studio Ghibli movies, despite of its old-style layout and graphics.

This is not a problem of DVD vs BluRay. We are asking for a proof of the title used in the "theatrical" release on May 19th, 2000.

At the moment I cannot find the theatrical movie poster. Anyway you can also read it in many webpages about that. One of a kind: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Mononoke
in detail: "Edizione italiana [...] L'adattamento, basato sulla versione in lingua inglese, presenta modifiche e alterazioni rispetto all'originale giapponese.
