Yeah, it's actually my favorite of the cinematic tellings of the Titanic story. I found it infinitely more emotionally involving than Cameron's film. Don't get me wrong; I love Cameron's film, but only for the painstaking research and recreation of the physical details of the ship. In the 1953 one, the stories and characters pull me right in and really get to me. It's just all-round better written and better acted.
Besides, I love Clifton Webb, and by the time I saw this I had finally learned to appreciate Barbra Stanwyck.

Not me. I originally thought you were referring to James Cameron's film, which I found to be good.
