The ending was way too over the top

i mean the ending would've been better if they could just lived in the new house, do they have to bring all the basketball contract, him being rich, and the mother getting married, dont you think thats a little bit too much.

Well I dont't think that's too much. Them getting married isn't over the top because that's how they live in the new house together. The basketball contract was the oldest son's dream in life. So appearntly, the basketball contract isn't much because I think he gets a scholarship from it. And him being rich? Um, he was douptfully already rich when h met the single mother. That's what I think. As in, in my opinion
