Discuss Ready Player One

I thought this was a really well done Blockbuster film. It felt fresh and original, and for a special effects driven movie like this I think that’s rare to find nowadays. The performances, directing and writing were all good too. It wasn’t without its flaws, but like I said it was still very good. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t seen it.

For a CGI movie, it was very good...

However, I hope Spielberg's next blockbuster isn't si CGI heavy... I think very few directors even attempt what he does regularly in livenaction movies...

Pure crap adaptation.

Sure, but it's still miles ahead of this crap fest. I'm glad it will make little to no money, hopefully they give up further butchering the sequel.

You realise Ernest Cline co-wrote the screenplay and was involved in the production throughout...

He wouldn't be the first writer to compromise his values for a ton of money coming his way...
