Discuss Split

I had high hopes for this actor. I liked the David and Patricia duo, even though they were a bit more comical than I think that thay were ment to be, but I was dissapointed by Hedwig (he's not consistant in age) and the kevin bit was just so bleak! What did you think?

Trying to trigger folks is a form of antagonism and though I don't believe Tyler was trolling he did (and intentionally he seems to admit) word his post to rub people up the wrong way, the character of Patricia couldn't be more feminine if McAvoy spontaneously grew breasts for the part because everything the character did was effeminate. Though to be honest, having the word 'arse' in your name doesn't go a long way to convincing people you are here for intelligent discussion...

Wasn't trolling, and was not intentionally trying to rub people the wrong way. Just stating my OPINION, and I stick by it. You people are incredible. And now you're gonna insult my user name? Wow.

McAvoy carried this movie and almost overcame the clunky, tailored-to-make-a-franchise ending... He was by far the best thing about this film...

Absolutely. I hated the rest of the film but wasn't bored because I thoroughly enjoyed his performance.

C'mon guys, he was terrible. I laughed out loud every time he turned into the little boy.

I thought he gave a solid performance, but he is not one of my favorite actors. The movie was good and I liked the nod to Unbreakable.

I was very disappointed in Split as well as McAvoy's performance.

Let me get this straight. John McAvoy can go from playing a 9 year old boy to uptight British lady and some average working joe in less than a minute and your disapointed in John McAvoy performance. Remind me to never watch 12 Angry Men with you, like ever.
