Apparently it's not the final version, it's just the beginning, the construction of the character, how he became the Joker.

I hope you are right. I want a classic look like in The Killing Joke.

Its the final version, the new footage proves that. Unless they just filmed some random scenes as a marketing campaign trick and plan on changing it. I actually like it, but it seems like its a 50/50 split for fans. And remember what people said about Heath Ledger joker. I suggest we wait to see the performance before we judge to harshly.
