In Tim Burton's movie, it was Jack Napier (years before he became the Joker) who killed Bruce's parents.
In Christopher Nolan's film, it was Joe Chill.
In this movie, it can be argued that Arthur Fleck/the Joker was involved - partly and indirectly - in the murder, since his actions were among the triggers (alongside the economic depression, the police brutality and the growing hatred toward rich people) that caused the riot, which resulted in many casualties, among them Bruce's parents.
My question: according to the comics, was the Joker somehow involved in murder of the Waynes?

Who cares? I'm on board for this reimagining of the joker if that's what it is.

I'm pretty sure Joe Chill was always considered the person that killed the Wayne's and that there was a bit of an outcry when Burton came in and changed it.

Which version/universe/section of the comics? There are TONS of comics for every major superhero that revisits and retools the origins.

Any version of the comics (except the one based on Tim Burton's film). If I am not mistaken, in the original version of the murder it was Joe Chill, but was there any other version, in which the Joker was somehow involved, say, sent Chill to kill the Wayne?

No, the first time there was ever even a hint of the Joker's involvement in the murder if the Waynes was the 1989 film.
In the comics, the Waynes were killed either by Joe Chill or by an unknown assailant because the crime was still unsolved. The murderer has never been the Joker or anyone else.

Except in the comics based on the 1989 movie.
