Kubrick exhibition in London

I was lucky enough yesterday to visit the Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the Design Museum in London. It was quite wonderful - a large range of props, costumes and artefacts from his films and from the making of them, from HAL 9000's eye to the giant ceramic 'dildo' from A Clockwork Orange. Each of his major movies has its own section with screenings of extracts, annotated scripts and plenty of memorabilia. One enters the exhibit on the carpet from the shining, walking into a set of screens playing extracts from a variety of Kubrick's films. A fascinating exhibition - highly recommended to anyone able to be in London over the next few months.

Did they also show material for the projects that were shelved such as his Napoleon project(for which most designs and and artwork had already been done until it was halted in the final )moment or his Aryan Papers movie for which I know interviews with principle cast already being interviewed and test shot until Schindler's List was released?

Yes, there was quite a lot of material relating to his Napoleon movie, including his detailed shooting schedule, script material, artwork etc.
I don’t recall anything from Aryan Papers but it’s possible I missed something.
There was also some great conceptual material relating to Kubrick’s planned film of A.I.

Yeah I know ,about The Aryan Papers I know that he had already hadbeen casting and test shooting at least the female lead had been cast because Dutch actress Johanna Ter Steege (because he liked her in Spoorloos/The Vanishing ) confirmed she had met with Kubrick and test shots were made and Kubrick had also been informing with George Sluizer the director of Spoorloos
