Happy birthday!

I have always liked Kathy Bates, although she has never been among the more subtle of actors. She was highly enjoyable in Misery but I think that her other Stephen King role - Dolores Claiborne - is a much better performance showcasing her range.

Another favourite is her performance in Men Don't Leave (also my favourite Jessica Lange role).
