Discuss Breaking Bad

..It should be top 3.

I've seen it a dozen times and each time it's mesmerizing and riveting especially S4-5, where it counts.

You can say whatever you want about the show and subject matter, but when it comes down to watching it, you can't take your eyes off the screen hardly for a second in S4 and 5.

That's virtually unheard of in a television show. It's the most binge-inducing, addictive show ever.

I'm watching season 4 on AMC right now, and it's so addictive it's mesmerizing and flat out riveting.

No way it's not above Cheers, Simpsons, Mary Tyler Moore, All in the Family, Mad Men, I Love Lucy, not to mention arguably Sopranos and Wire, whose final seasons declined and fell short unlike "Bad" which got better to the end.

I'd put it #1 written. For a long show to maintain an engaging screenplay for that long is unheard of.

Yeah, it's better written than most of those shows. But not The Wire.
