Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the Premier League. All eyes are on Old Trafford as Manchester United face a huge match against Chelsea. Louis van Gaal's expensively assembled squad could not have had more of a contrasting start to the season to that enjoyed by Jose Mourinho's Chelsea. The Red Devils will be looking to shrug off what has been a terrible opening to the season by their exalted standards, but their struggling defence will have their work cut out containing a Blues team who have been scoring goals for fun. Elsewhere, struggling Burnley welcome Everton to Turf Moor to get points on the board, while Newcastle travel to play Tottenham. There is also a look back at Saturday's Premier League action, featuring Manchester City against West Ham and Sunderland against Arsenal.

Mark Chapman presents highlights of Sunday's two Premier League matches, including Southampton against Manchester City, and a look back at all of Saturday's action. Despite a summer of upheaval Saints enjoyed a record-breaking start to this season and are hopeful of extending their three-match unbeaten run against City on home turf. While Saints celebrated an impressive start to the campaign, Tottenham and Everton struggled to get going and are both desperate for three points at White Hart Lane in the day's other match. Highlights of the day's three Premier League games, which see Tottenham host West Ham, Everton take on Leicester and Southampton play Liverpool. The latter match sees former Saints players Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren return to St Mary's for the first time since joining the Reds last year. Southampton have coped well without the trio, launching an unexpected challenge for European qualification. It has been an up-and-down campaign for Liverpool, who have struggled to replace Barcelona-bound Luis Suarez, although there have been more encouraging signs of late. The Reds' Merseyside rivals Everton host Leicester City at Goodison Park, eager to make up lost ground following inconsistent league form. And there's a London derby at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham take on West Ham.

Highlights and analysis of the day's three Premier League matches, plus a round-up of Saturday's action, introduced by Mark Chapman. Arsenal have approached the new season in confident mood after ending the last campaign strongly and retaining the FA Cup. Sunday's opponents West Ham hadn't beaten the Gunners in 15 attempts, but their new manager Slaven Bilic has been backed in the transfer market and set a target of a top-eight finish by the club's owners. There was a managerial bow too for Steve McClaren at Newcastle, who hosted Southampton, while Stoke City faced Liverpool in a repeat of the final day of last season, when the Potters scored five first-half goals as Brendan Rodgers' side were thrashed 6-1.

Highlights and analysis of the day's three Premier League matches plus a round-up of the weekend's earlier action, introduced by Mark Chapman. Manchester United hosted neighbours Manchester City looking to secure local bragging rights and steal a march in the fledgling title race. United won 4-2 at Old Trafford last season to end a four-game losing streak to City. The north east derby between Sunderland and Newcastle took on added significance with both clubs starting the season poorly. The Black Cats went into the game having won each of the last five league meetings between the sides. The day's other matches saw Bournemouth host Tottenham and Liverpool entertain Southampton.

Mark Chapman presents highlights of Sunday's Premier League matches, with Arsenal hosting Chelsea and Swansea City travelling to Everton. Chelsea beat Arsenal 2-0 in September, but that win has proved a rare bright spot in a disappointing season for the Blues, whose poor league form eventually cost manager Jose Mourinho his job. Things have gone more smoothly for long-serving Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, with the outstanding form of midfield playmaker Mesut Ozil helping the Gunners reach the new year top of the table - and hopeful of a first league title since 2004. Everton will also be hopeful of a strong end to the season, with the attacking talents of Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu and Ross Barkley giving them a real cutting edge. However, the Toffees have lacked consistency and will be keen to capitalise against a Swansea side who have faded after a good start to the campaign. There is also a chance to see all the goals and major incidents from Saturday's games.

The Cherries have exceeded expectations in their first-ever season in the top flight, yet still desperately need points in their battle to avoid the drop. Arsene Wenger's team began the year top of the table but there is a lot of work to be done before they can claim a first Premier League title for more than a decade. Chelsea and Manchester United have thwarted Arsenal on many occasions since The Gunners' last league success, but both clubs are struggling this season. Jason Mohammad introduces highlights from the day's Premier League fixtures, headlined by the latest chapter in Leicester City's fairytale season as they continue their title pursuit against Swansea at the King Power Stadium. The Foxes haven't lost at home in this fixture since 1950 and won 3-0 in south Wales earlier this season courtesy of a Riyad Mahrez hat-trick. Arsenal's title hopes are seemingly remote, but they are still pushing for a 20th consecutive top-four finish and can ill-afford to slip up against struggling Sunderland, who have only won this fixture once in 15 years. Like Arsenal, Manchester City are looking to secure Champions League qualification, and they face a Stoke side vying for their highest Premier League finish.

Manish Bhasin presents highlights of Sunday's Premier League games, as Bournemouth play Manchester United and Arsenal take on Liverpool. The former match sees new United manager Jose Mourinho take charge of his first league game since succeeding Louis van Gaal. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss has wasted little time overhauling his squad, and could hand Premier League debuts to summer signings Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly. Meanwhile at the Emirates, last season's runners-up Arsenal take on Liverpool. It is 12 years since the Gunners last won the league - and 26 since their opponent's last title triumph. Arsenal fans will hope the signing of Swiss international Granit Xhaka will give their midfield more bite this season, while Liverpool supporters will be expecting much from Senegalese forward Sadio Mane, who joined from Southampton this summer. The day’s other fixture sees Arsenal travel to Burnley looking to preserve their fine record against the Clarets, having won each of their past 11 matches in all competitions. The other fixture pits Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho against his former Porto goalkeeper Nuno Espirito Santo, now in his third season in charge of Wolves. Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the day’s two Premier League matches, comprising the north London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham and Southampton’s clash with Wolves.

Arsenal came from behind to beat Spurs 2-1 in March, but for the fifth consecutive season they ended the year below their rivals in the table. The Gunners spent heavily to strengthen their squad in the summer, and the pressure is on boss Mikel Arteta to produce results sooner rather than later. Tottenham, meanwhile, managed to hold on to star striker Harry Kane despite interest from Manchester City, and their new head coach Nuno Espirito Santo will be optimistic his squad is good enough for a top-four finish.

Nuno’s former club Wolves will be hoping to extend their good recent record against Southampton. The Molineux club – now coached by Bruno Lage – have lost one of six league matches against Saints since promotion in 2018.
