Discuss Chasing Raine

Chasing Raine is the WORST movie I have EVER seen. There isn't a single redeeming feature. Also, you should know the summary for the film is almost completely wrong.

SPOILER ALERT: The description makes it seem that mom and dad team up to find their missing daughter. This is just wrong. The film IS about skilled soldiers. Both the EX-husband and the wife have been trained and deployed. But what really happens is that Dad comes home an angry, bitter, and violent psycho. So mom marries a new guy, who actually cares for the daughter (Raine). Mom gets full custody, and then Dad finds out the family is thinking about moving to Idaho. So Dad shows up at Mom's house, kills the babysitter and steals the child. Then he leaves the kid's tablet in an old couple's house, hoping mom will decide they are involved and kill them. Fortunately, they have security cameras. Meanwhile, Dad has left Raine with his sister, and he's kidnapped the new husband, too. This guy isn't a soldier. But while the rest of us would keep our mouths shut and pray, this guy mouths off until Dad puts 4 or 5 bullets in him. Totally realistic. While this is going on, poor Raine gets kidnapped THE SECOND TIME that day from a restaurant where she's eating chicken and waffles. Of course. But for some reason, Raine has her Aunt's OTHER phone in her bag, so they can track the traffickers to an old creepy warehouse. There are a couple of dozen guards, but the bad guys are going to get paid over a million dollars for Raine, so they can afford the extra security. Dad, Mom and Mom's friend all show up at different entrances to the clubhouse, and they make quick work of the bad guys. But the boss captures Raine again and holds her at gunpoint. And here is where the movie totally goes off the rails into CRAZYTOWN. The trafficker kills Mom. You know, THE HERO of the movie. But instead of Mom's friend taking out Dad, he HELPS Dad kill the last of the traffickers, then he just lets him TAKE Raine. He's killed the babysitter and the stepdad and set up two elderly folks, and if he hadn't set this whole disaster in motion, Mom would be alive, and Raine would be home in bed. But hey, he loves his daughter, so I guess no harm no foul. Wait... I don't know what kind of drugs the screenwriter was on, but I WANT SOME! Here's the tagline: You want your daughter? Take her. Just make sure you kill everybody else that cares about her! Yes, I'm sure you can tell the story made me pretty angry. So I'm pretty sure I would have hated it even if they did a great job with the rest of it. But believe me... THEY DID NOT! The best actor in the movie is step-dad's classic automobile. Almost all the sound effects were recorded on camera, so they sound terrible. And they knew it because they did what really desperate filmmakers have been doing for many years. They played music for almost every second of the movie. Oh, and the music is bad too. But compared to the acting, writing, cinematography, sound, lighting, did I mention acting, the music isn't that bad. But good filmmakers use the score to inform the watcher how they are supposed to feel. Music can make you happy, scared, tense, and awestruck, good composers can change the mood at will. But you have to let it breathe. I could go on, but this epic piece of dog-doo has already cost me two hours of my life. I'm trying to do you a favor. This is not Plan 9 from Outer Space. This is not one of those movies that is so terrible it's funny. It's not funny. It's just terrible!
