Money has become the drug of our societies. Confronted with this phenomenon, citizens all over the world are inventing complementary currencies for social ends and are opening the debate: What is money for?

Carmen Hopper awakens to find that her world has been altered forever. Her husband, Dan Hopper, a compliance officer at a local bank, has disappeared. Upon going to the police, she is introduced to Detective Frank McCoy. As the investigation proceeds, they are confronted by a group of men that are also looking for Dan. They soon learn that Dan has been laundering money for a corporation that funds world terrorist groups. It is only when Dan decides to remove the money from the corporation's account, that he comes up with a plan to keep it and keep Carmen safe. Unfortunately he underestimates to what length they will go to retrieve what belongs to them.

Then strange things start to happen, and Otto gets stuck on the labyrinthine roads of Telemark. Among other things, he is chased by amcar enthusiasts who are looking for the engine of the Opel Diplomat, which houses a highly sought after Chevrolet V8.

Highly intelligent hacker Lillian joins a cybersecurity company in order to gain access to the bank where her father used to work. She discovers nothing is what it seems and it turns out she isn’t the only one pretending to be someone else. But where do we draw the line between activism and terrorism?

Some people will do anything to secure an American visa, as hard as that might be. Some enter lotteries, others beg friends and families to invite them. Others still, just sneak in and hope Mr Trump doesn’t notice they are there. But in this raucous comedy, one Egyptian couple come up with a splendid wheeze. With twin babies due any minute, and all other efforts to secure citizenship fail, the couple decide to storm the US Embassy in Cairo and give birth there. Surely that will mean the babies are born as Americans, right? Well, er, no. As you might expect, things don’t quite go according to plan…

It is an ordinary day at the bank. A somewhat stressed young man makes an entrance and sits down among the other waiting customers. When it is his turn at the lady cashiers he suddenly draws a pistol and declares it is a bank robbery. It is a situation that could have terrifying consequences if it was not for the the cashiers unusual take on the situation.

He is working on the books to cover his crimes, when a visitor arrives with a gun. In the conversation that ensues, it is revealed that the visitor is an escaped convict that was a former employee of the bank. He was railroaded to prison to cover the crooked banker's crime. As with other entries in this series, there is a shadow projected every so often with a voice forecasting what is to come.
