Discuss Dracula

This was the first vampire movie I ever saw, and for years it was the only vampire movie I knew anything about. It was played on TV over and over when horror and monster movies were shown. I miss those old monster movies. For people of my age, Bella Lugosi as Dracula was the only vampire. I still love this movie.

I'm in my late 50s and too watched the many old monster movies. They played late at night in my area with Elvira hosting them. I was also a big Christopher Lee fan.

I really liked Christopher Lee. He had that smouldering, sensual appeal, even when he was playing a vampire. When I was a teenager, I used to go to bed and leave my window open, just in case!!!!! LOL

Lugosi was definitely the best IMO, followed by Christopher Lee. Gotta love the Old Hammer films. Plus Bella was buried in his famous cape. How cool is that?!

He was a great inspiration to vampire films that followed. I love all these old films and seeing Bella at his best overcomes any flaws it has
