Item: The Terminator
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Not sure this report will work, content discussions give a 404.
CA French title is Terminateur, but locked as CA EN title.
Last time somehow I duplicated PL theatrical poster.
I understand EN original title is forever to be original. Even with a re-release/new/NZ/trailer title as just Terminator. However many dupe/full neuter EN posters are being added and locked to other languages. IMHO they need to be moved to EN and dupes deleted. If we are going to allow an exception since most of the world has called this Terminator (without the THE) we need a mod call as to which one gets them. There is one in CZ, two in DE and four in FR.
thanks

Sources? I checked newspaper records and there wasn't a single mention of a "Terminateur" film.

How often is it non-en even use theater title, sometimes a movie never appears in theater and uses dvd title and the only time ORIGINAL counts in tmdb is EN-en. So even an older movie we do not trust imdb / Terminateur is actually an alt FR title? So CA-EN is TERMINATOR as is CA-FR? So lack of a 35 yo kanuke newspaper ad is proof imdb is wrong? ok thanks

As far as I'm aware, it's not an official theatrical/VHS/DVD title. I didn't find any proof that it was used in Canada nor France, and no semi-reliable website use it. It's fine as a literal translation of the French title though.
