I saw this film (and 'My Darling Clementine'). Both films slightly shaped my perception of the gunfight between the Earps and Clantons. Clavin offered pictures of the real Tombstone lawmen and outlaws.
Now to a strange point. Clavin claimed that the Earps (as Marshals of Tombstone) had more right to investigate the inhabitants of the municipality than did Sheriff Johnny Behan (who served the entire county that Tombstone was located in). Why in blazes would city marshals have more authority to investigate than the county's sheriff? It is equal 50/50. Strange point of Clavin.
