Discuss King Kong

King Kong has not dated at all. It remains a magnificent movie, thrilling and deeply moving. Such a dazzling display of craft - the effects are still hugely impressive today and must have made jaws drop back in 1933. While later versions of this famous story have their merits, none has or will ever come close to capturing the charm and magic of this great, great film. Along with The Thief of Bagdad and The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad this was one of the wonderful movies which ignited my love of cinema as a kid - and all three remain among my favourites and most watched films today.
