It seems to me that they (IFC) haven't fully committed to the long title. It is used more as a placeholder (for the homepage and for the trailer), but not on any posters nor in any trailer. It is the title they used when promoting the official release, but my guess is they still use the short title in the actual movie (please correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, overall, I think the current set-up is fine. And with my IMDb settings I only see the 78/52 title.

Oh that's interesting. It aired here on UK tv as (rather confusingly) Hitchcock's Shower Scene: 78/52 and imdb shows me the long title. It must be a regional thing. Cheers for looking into it.
