Absolutely amazing. I had to give this one 4 and a half out of 5. The bleakness, the music, the acting, the story - literally everything really hit a nerve with me. I haven't seen Hell or High Water as yet so I'm expecting even bigger things from that.

I struggle to name any film I saw in 2017 that didn't disappoint the dickens out of me.
Baby Driver (rubbish) Dunkirk (all over the place in hodge-podge, lifeless fashion) Murder on the Orient Express (rote remake) Blade Runner 2049 (can't believe Villeneuve directed that soul-less snooze) mother! (Tideland meets Requiem for a Circus Clown Car) Logan Lucky (stupid, and as flat as Swank's performance) all sucked in their various suck ways.
Wind River...Colossal...Brawl in Cell Block 99. Those did not suck. They were entertaining and just what I hoped for.

I loved Blade Runner 2049. I can't believe that some people didn't like it. The sound track, the feel of the film...

Didn’t think I would like it that much at the start, but, as it progressed I got more into it. Very good film.
