Not really worth watching (spoilers)

I mean that is obviously subjective, but that is how I felt. It just feels hollow and largely pointless and tedious. You keep waiting for the end to see if there at least some kind of a twist there and.........there is nothing. Even though it picks up the pace slightly in the end the whole ending is just asinine and the bad guy seems to cut the leading lady's jugular and/or carotid and we see her lying on the floor with a big blood puddle underneath her only for her to get her second wind a minute later and end the bad guy.

I agree with you. The killer's behavior is inexplicable. For an hour and a half we waits for something to happen... with mortal boredom.

And therein lies the problem. You just weren't in sync with the intentions of the movie / director.
I was intrigued from start to finish.

Can one really say Maika Monroe played a scream queen with the character "Julia"? I don't think so.
