Good writing and a fine cast make this a witty film. Alastair Sim is particularly good, and the plot (not terribly dissimilar to Brewster's Millions) has some good life lessons along with several ironic and amusing twists and turns.
Audrey Hepburn also has a small part, early in her career, as a cigarette girl a short way into the film.

Yes, great British comedy with a very fun cast of characters. The third Alastair Sim movie I've watched, ever since a couple weeks ago when I first saw (and loved) him in An Inspector Calls. Many good chuckles to be had here, with a very fun plot. The ending had me in stitches. 😂

Yes, An Inspector Calls is another fine Sim film, and somewhat supernatural.
