Jessie tells Kris she will be an advisor for her schools newspaper, Kris is upset her mother will be at her school. Jessie has problems with a class clown Eric and takes charge of the class and threatens anyone that doesn't want to be serious with the paper will be kicked out. David thinks about getting his ear pierced. Molly and Bertha practice tap dancing around the house.
