There was some discussion of an online comic book based on the TV show and using characters resembling the actors from TV. It is based on an unpublished script for something called "Superman and the Secret Planet". The intro page can be found here: http://www.jimnolt.com/sp-intro.htm

At the bottom of that intro page are links to the actual pages, beginning with page one. You can pick a version that has music vs. no music.

There was also some discussion about whether the comic might be illegal/an infringement of copyright or trademark, but I don't believe there's a problem. The drawings are original, and the words are taken from an unpublished script that is either probably in the public domain by now or has been Okayed by DC Comics.
