The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is an American children's television series that originally aired on NBC from September 15, 1968 through February 23, 1969. Produced by Hanna-Barbera and based on the classic Mark Twain characters, the program starred its three live-action heroes, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher, and Tom Sawyer, navigating weekly adventures within an animated world as they attempted to outrun a vengeful "Injun Joe". After the show's original run, the series continued to air in reruns as part of The Banana Splits and Friends Show syndication package.

Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer et Becky Thatcher tentent d'échapper à Joe L'Indien qu'ils avaient dénoncé au tribunal en se réfugiant dans une grotte. C'est la porte d'entrée à de nombreuses aventures abordant des problèmes de société ou philosophiques (comme le droit des animaux). Les trois adolescents et Joe l'Indien sont interprétés par des acteurs alors que les personnages qu'ils rencontrent sont animés.

La storia racconta le vicende di tre ragazzi, Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer e Becky Thatcher che dalla cittadina di Hannibal Missouri finiscono in un mondo a cartoni animati, dopo essersi persi in una caverna. In ogni episodio i ragazzi incontrano diversi personaggi della fantasia come Don Chisciotte, Ercole, I Piccoli Lillipuziani, Folletti ed altro. L'indiano Joe, nemico dei protagonisti nella vita reale, impersona il cattivo (in ruoli diversi) pure nella versione animata. Al termine di ogni puntata, i tre ragazzi cercano la strada per ritornare ad Hannibal Missouri.
