Discuss Star Trek

With a nod to rudely_murray over at the Kevin Bacon thread, let's play 6 degrees of TOS! The rules: You name an actor, and the next poster has to link that actor to one of the Big 3 (Shatner, Nimoy, or Kelley) in as few moves as possible. Ideally 6 or less, hence, 6 degrees.

Example:

Player 1 names Bruce Lee.

Player 2 responds:

  1. Bruce Lee starred in Enter the Dragon with John Saxon.
  2. John Saxon starred in an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man with Lee Majors.
  3. Lee Majors starred with William Shatner when he guest starred in an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man.

Player 2 then names another actor to link to one of the Big 3.

Feature films or TV shows only. Try not to select names which would be too easy, like linking Shatner to Patrick Stewart is no challenge!

Okay, here goes...

First try: Marlon Brando.

Thanks wonder2wonder, I enjoyed it . slight_smile

What I like about Shatner is, he jumped into so many different roles after Star Trek, he is a very versatile actor. I never understood the animosity George Takei had towards Shatner.

Let's face it Kirk,Spock and Bones, their chemistry is what made Star Trek shine. Takei should have been happy and count his blessing to have had a (small )part in such a great series.

I didn't expect such a short reply. I checked out the link you provided.

No wonder I didn't recognise the actor..his face was a hazed floating image .... I felt for Charlie in that moment.

There is always a first time even for a brilliant captain like Kirk, who didn't believe in no-win scenarios.

In a thread, the OP asked : why did Kirk think Charlie X could be trained to live among Humans?

It's got more to do with the fact that Kirk doesn't like to lose and he believes there is always a solution to every problem. He applied that to Charlie.

Flight World War 11 2015 with Harwood Gordon and Faran Tahir
