Makes me realize how much "Airport Drama" we are missing post-Covid by flying the teams around on a charter. This season was non-stop airport drama on almost every leg. Right up to the final leg when the lead teams delayed flight enabled Chip & Kim to get the lead. We have the world's most famous Amazing Race quote, "MY OX IS BROKEN!" No dummy, you're supposed to have one person lead the ox while the other pushes the plow. Nicole could be such a crybaby. And this was the last season without roadblock limits, when the females on coed teams could foist almost all the roadblocks on the men. All three women in the final three did 1 roadblock each. Charla, a little person did more roadblocks then the 3 of them put together. The Bowling Moms were the first female team to reach 4th place. They could have made the final three if those other females had to do that last roadblock against him. Marshall & Lance were the first team to not make it to the pitstop and had to have Phil come to them to tell them they were eliminated. First season for the Yield. First season for the non-elimination penalty (losing your money and having to beg). And they cut the Fast Forwards back to two per season, when previously they had one on every leg.
One FF was getting your head shaved in India for good luck. Brandon & Nicole refused to do it (and finished the race in 3rd place). Joyce & Uchenna did it in Season 7 and won the race.
