I wonder why this show never really took off. Loni and Lynda got along great, as far as anything I've read, and Lynda was happy to be back on the East coast with then-new husband Robert Altman once the show was canceled. I wonder sometimes if the public couldn't see past Lynda's Wonder Woman character at the time. Only five years after production ceased on Lynda's fame-making role, I remember it being a bit odd - watching Lynda be unable to get out of precarious positions. It were as if we (the public) couldn't accept at the time that she couldn't just "spin" out of her situation and save the day. Perhaps the character was a bit too close to Diana Prince at the time, and people just couldn't see Lynda in a similar role...one in which she seemed simply to be Diana Prince without the alter ego.
