The scene takes place in 1212 at the beginning of the Middle Ages. The Queen has suddenly taken ill at Riberhus Castle. In her feverish dreams she meets the persona of death with its bony hand holding the white queen on a chessboard. Several mile's away, King Valdemar Sejr, who doesn't yet have knowledge of his wife's illness, is out on a hunt. Suddenly his falcon disappears in the woods and the king pursues it. He finds it on the shoulder of a bony man who is dressed in a black mantle and waiting for him beside a chessboard.

Best friends Leah, Jada and Shanice lose their jobs due to the economy failing in the town they live in. They each try looking for new jobs in town but can't find anyone hiring. With bills piling up and no jobs available, they struggle to make ends meet. Then one day, by chance, Leah comes across a gunrunner hiding a bag of AK-47's. Leah strikes up a deal with the gunrunner to buy his guns and sell them on the black market. Things start going well with the women selling guns until Shanice's boyfriend, Marquis, finds out that she is selling guns. Marquis and his cousin Berg then decide they are going to steal the guns from the woman and set up their own operation.

We find Dido in her court with her attendants. Dido fears that her love for Aeneas will make her a weak monarch, but her attendants assure her that heroes, too, love....

The Roman setting provides ample opportunity for a very high concentration of gag titles, many of which are quite witty and many of which are quaint for deriving their humor from the juxtaposition of having ancient Romans use a lot of hip 1918-era slang. The whole thing is an excuse for a good send-up of how the Roman Empire has been depicted in "serious" plays, movies, &c.
