노숙자 만식, 그는 집이 있다. 여느 때처럼 구걸을 마치고 집에 돌아온 그, 스스로 머리를 박박 밀고 목욕을 한다. 잠시 후 만식이 편안히 잠에 빠져들 때쯤 또각또각 어디선가 여자 구두소리가 들려오기 시작한다.
