Looks like WB are planning to pull another "Batgirl". Given that James Gunn was a producer on CvE it doesn't seem like they have a lot of faith in the guy they've given the keys to the DC Universe to.

Gunn might have gotten the assurance from Zaslav that if he doesn't make a fuss about one of his films being deleted, he will have carte blanche to create his own DC Universe.
