I really need to revisit this movie, DVR'd it a while ago but it's been several years since I watched. One thing I remembered was how good Giovanni Ribisi was, he had some memorable gigs around that time & could pull off a variety of character roles.
The dad moments were a little cheesy but otherwise the film was very good with solid acting and a plot that kept me in suspense. Excellent acting by Giovanni Ribisi and Nia Long. Way better than The Wolf of Wall Street, which had some good scenes but overall felt contrived, while The Boiler Room was authentic.

Never watched WS, but I know it's better than TWOWS.
