I liked the movie... It was interesting to see a young man coming terms to the loss of his father and finally dealing with his heritage and cultural inheritance...

At the end though, I'm left wondering whether Gogol is still just going through the motions again, or if he has finally embraced becoming his own man rather than following expectations of his country of birth or those of his parental and ancestral legacy...
