What is up with Caesar and his telepathy over and with other apes? There was no expostion scene between he and Armando where it established the Chimp had telepathy. Was this a holdover from and sort of like the telepathic humans in Beneath the Planet of the apes ( see my other postings).

Roddy McDowall must have had an easy time playing a fish out of water in this film as Caesar. He had a tough time fitting in when he came to America from the UK in the 1940s. He had lots of rejection from other kids and everything.
