Discuss Time Lapse

Seriously, I was hugely impressed with this. Smart, low key, well delivered and acted. It's so much better than 90% of other sci fi films which try to do too much or have a big enough budget to indulge themselves. This deserves way more viewers. I looked up the director and co-writer and neither of them seem to have done anything since, which, unless they're operating under different names now, is a travesty.

Low budget indies only garner attention when they're based on topical subject matter or have A-listers in the cast. I've seen a slew of similar films that nobody has ever heard of and never will. I thought this was a little odd, but I always appreciate a new take on sci-fi material.

A bit disappointed in this thread as it sparked a re-interest in watching / finishing this:- ARQ

Pretty terrible. I gave it 1.5 stars. Time Lapse was miles better (3.5 stars), even though on the face of it they seem quite similar in terms of budget / plot contrivance...

I really enjoyed ARQ! In fact, at the time I wrote: "happily surprising and unique time travel sci-fi thriller. So much better than reviews or its reputation would imply. Highly recommended." Sorry to hear you didn't like it.
