4, 3, 5, 2, 1 I never watched the TV show, but 1 felt the most like it was closer to something like it would have been... To be honest, I found 1 a bit boring whereas the most recent 3 have felt like a good trilogy of action thrillers. (Sorry, forgot how to do bullet points!)

1 > 2 > Rogue Nation > Ghost Protocal > 3.

A part of me really hates ranking films because it's such nonsense: they're all different and they shouldn't be ranked against others, it's like comparing people, everyone is unique and special. There is no comparison.

Though, I really do rank the films in my head because there are others I enjoy more and think are much better and more engaging/meaningful, so...

The third film is the most emotional and engaging. It's really really great.

The first film is amazing and kinda ties with the third. It's quintessential.

The second film is great, though I remember being really engaged on first watch and the repeat watch I was not impressed and felt it didn't age well. I think it had more of an emotional engagement which puts it above all that I ranked below it.

The fourth film is so much damn fun. Though, I think it lacks that emotional engagement the three before it had, so it comes off as fluff by comparison.

The sixth film was quite fun and engaging, though it does feel a bit monotonous at this point and has lost something important ever since the fourth film.

The fifth film just feels spoofy and too ridiculous. I wasn't engaged much and it's very easily the worst of the series and the only one I really don't care for.

The only thing I remember about the 3rd mission impossible is the cringy Humpty Dumpty line. I'm sure I'm missing out, but I have no desire to rewatch it now.

This one was good (most of them are good). Mission Impossible 1 is the one that stands out the most to me.

They're all so very similar though.

Oh, Mission Impossible II is MUCH worst than any other movies in the franchise! The best thing about Mission Impossible II is the song Take A Look Around by Limp Biscuit.
