Out of all the Brosnan efforts, I think this film is the one which comes closest to the classic Connery / Moore formula to achieving greatness.
All it really needed was a couple of tweaks:-
They should have extended the Havana Clinic section. Perhaps had Bond going more undercover here, maybe more akin to Thunderball.
The Eden project set should have been the setting for the film's climax - they could have just ditched the entire plane segment and had Gustav Graves controlling the laser from his layer.
... Oh, and maybe lose the car - easy enough to do, it's invisible after all 😉

@The Midi-chlorian Count I totally agree with you about the invisible car. Even Sir Roger Moore thought it was silly!

Yeah, the invisible car and the cgi tsunami surfing! Very much makes it stuck as a product of it's time...
Think I read that before in Moore's Bond On Bond - Probably a bit cheeky of Sir Roger to be making any comments though given that he got a tiger to sit no less! And a tiger is cat, not a dog - i.e. he got a cat to sit! Blows my mind every time...

@The Midi-chlorian Count Well, while Sir Roger wasn't the greatest Bond, he sure was the Bond who enjoyed himself playing Bond.

We'll have argee to disagree there Maria - Sir Roger was, and indeed still is the greatest Bond as far as I'm concerned...
